Growing up in a Scandinavian-inspired home, surrounded by minimalist furniture and art, I developed a deep appreciation for clean, thoughtful design. This foundation, combined with global influences from my travels, where a pivotal encounter with an artist sparked my passion for graphic design, has shaped my creative journey. Minimalism resonates with me for the calm it instills, creating space for essential details to shine. My design philosophy focuses on giving important elements room to breathe, a principle central to my work in editorial design, where clarity and impact are key.
Books, in particular, hold a special place in my creative process. I’ve always loved reading, and I collect books from all over the world, often for their unique design features. These collections inspire me to create designs that go beyond books and not only serve a purpose but also engage the viewer on a deeper, more tactile level. My goal is to craft work that stands out—designs that function beautifully while offering an unexpected element that leaves a lasting impression.
